Margaret "Maggie" Louise Brown was born on Jan. 24, 1956, and entered into eternal rest on Dec. 29, 2023 in El Paso after an illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Sr., and Pattye Brown; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Diana Brown, and brother Raymond Brown Jr.

She is survived by one niece and one nephew.

Maggie was a social butterfly and loved by all who met her. She was full of life and always making everyone laugh. She was very well known in the Fort Stockton area and she will be missed in all of her circles. 

Maggie was a 49-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in several states. Over the years she was willing to donate and volunteer whenever she could.

The Eagles #3220 Comanche Aerie of Fort Stockton will be hosting a benefit with a combination Celebration of Life  and “Happy Birthday" balloon release on Jan. 27 starting at noon at the Aerie, with the balloon release at sunset. Everyone is welcome to come and help raise money for Maggie’s final expenses and to stay and release a balloon in her honor.

Rest in peace, sweet Maggie Brown.
