Erwin, Steven Michael, 53, died December 21, 2009 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was born May 14, 1956 to Bert & Sharon (Southard) Erwin in Great Bend. He had been a resident of Wichita since 1990, coming from Great Bend. He was baptized at the First United Methodist Church. Survived by: parents, Bert and Sharon Erwin of Great Bend; brother, Mark Erwin of Overland Park; sisters, Jana Durfee and husband Marc of Wichita and Pamela Roemer and husband Mark of St. Paul, MN; grandmother, Claudie "Dolly" Southard of Hoisington; niece, Abigail Streit; and 2 nephews, Benjamin Streit and Angus Durfee. Visitation 5-9 p.m., Tuesday, Bryant Funeral Home. Services 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Foundry Methodist Church, Great Bend, officiated by Rev. Kevin Baxter. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery. Memorial funds to Foundry Methodist Church or Southwest Kansas Mental Health Association, both in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
